Common questions
What Pros ask before applying
Do you auto-import my business data?
No. Both tiers are opt-in only. Nothing about your business appears in the directory until you complete signup yourself — either by selecting your business from Google's public Places search, or by entering your details manually. We don't bulk-import or scrape. You can request removal at any time and the listing comes down within 24 hours.
What happens with my data after I claim?
Free Listing: at signup we pull your public Google business data (name, address, phone, hours, photos, reviews, star rating) via the Google Places API — the same public index Google Search and Google Maps use. We do not log in to your Google account or ask you to grant OAuth access. The data is a snapshot from signup time. To edit your listing later, you use a secure reviewer link we email you.
Premium Listing: you get a full LeadHub dashboard account where you can update your listing details, post to your social channels, and manage leads. You connect your Google Ads account only if you want LeadHub to run paid campaigns for you — that connection is separate and you can disconnect it from your dashboard at any time.
How do I update my Free Listing if my hours or reviews change?
Two options:
(1) Edit it yourself via the secure reviewer link we email you at signup (and again whenever you request an edit). The link opens a form where you can update your details, swap photos, change your hours, or add a description.
(2) Email support@leadhubai.io and ask us to re-pull your Google data — we'll re-fetch from Google Places and refresh your listing within one business day.
What's the actual catch with the Free Listing?
Four things, honestly: (1) no AI chat widget, so leads contact you manually and you compete on response time the old way; (2) Premium Listings rank higher in the directory by default; (3) your listing data is a snapshot from signup, so you have to request a refresh if your reviews or hours change significantly; (4) no badge or response-time stat on your card. It's a real listing — just not the full platform.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes — that's the point. Most Pros start on Free Listing to claim their spot, then upgrade to Premium Listing once they see homeowners finding them. Your Founding 50 rate locks in for 60 months from the day you upgrade, so if the public price doubles next year, yours doesn't.
How does "verification" actually work?
Two paths:
(1) Google Places match — when you pick your business from Google's public search results during signup, we use Google's own index as the verification baseline. Selecting another business's Place ID to misrepresent yourself is a violation of our Terms.
(2) Manual entry — if your business isn't in Google's index yet, you enter the details yourself and we review before publishing. Manual signups are admin-reviewed within one business day; we may ask for proof of operation (business license, vehicle decal photo, utility bill) if anything looks off.
What if I don't have a Google Business Profile yet?
You can still get listed —
use Manual Entry during signup and we'll review your details and publish within one business day. Setting up a Google Business Profile is still a good idea (it helps homeowners find you across Google Search and Maps) and is free at
google.com/business — but it's not required for a LeadHub Free Listing.
Do I have to use your phone number?
Premium Listings get a new local LeadHub number provisioned in minutes — that's what the AI uses to text leads on your behalf. If you'd rather port your existing business number to LeadHub, that's available too, but porting typically takes 5–10 business days, so most Pros just use the new number as their public-facing line from day one.
Is this like Angi, HomeAdvisor, or Thumbtack?
No. Pay-per-lead platforms sell the same lead to multiple competing Pros and let them race. LeadHub does the opposite — every lead from your directory profile goes to you, and your AI replies in 60 seconds so you don't lose the job to whoever replied first.
