What Pros ask before applying

Is it really free? What's the catch?
It's a real listing, permanently free — but it's not the full platform. The honest tradeoffs: no AI chat widget (leads contact you manually), standard placement in the directory (a Premium tier ranks higher), and your listing data is a snapshot from signup — you request a refresh if your hours or reviews change significantly. If you ever want the AI-powered version that replies to leads in under 60 seconds, you can upgrade any time — but you never have to.
Do you auto-import my business data?
No. Your listing is opt-in only. Nothing about your business appears in the directory until you complete signup yourself — either by selecting your business from Google's public Places search, or by entering your details manually. We don't bulk-import or scrape. You can request removal at any time and the listing comes down within 24 hours.
What happens with my data after I sign up?
At signup we pull your public Google business data (name, address, phone, hours, photos, reviews, star rating) via the Google Places API — the same public index Google Search and Google Maps use. We do not log in to your Google account or ask for OAuth access. The data is a snapshot from signup time; to edit your listing later, you use a secure reviewer link we email you.
What if I don't have a Google Business Profile yet?
You can still get listed — use Manual Entry during signup and we'll review your details and publish within one business day. Setting up a Google Business Profile is still a good idea (it helps homeowners find you across Google Search and Maps too) and is free at google.com/business — but it's not required for a LeadHub listing.
How does "verification" actually work?
Two paths. Google Places match — when you pick your business from Google's public search results during signup, we use Google's own index as the verification baseline. Manual entry — if your business isn't in Google's index yet, you enter the details yourself and we review before publishing, typically within one business day.
Is this like Angi, HomeAdvisor, or Thumbtack?
No. Pay-per-lead platforms sell the same lead to multiple competing Pros and let them race each other. LeadHub does the opposite — every lead from your directory profile goes to you, never shared with competitors.
